Lawrence Fine Art Conservation Services
A full range of conservation services is available for the preservation and restoration of paintings, with consultations, examinations, and evaluations available by appointment. Appointments and work generally are scheduled in the fully equipped studio, including climate control and security and fire protection systems, or they may be carried out on-site, as needed. Our services include:

All aspects of conservation treatment of paintings, including cleaning of grime and removal/reduction of discolored surface coatings and various disfiguring accretions; structural repair of tears, holes, breaks, and planar deformations; restoration of losses and damages; minor frame repair and re-framing of paintings; addition of preservation measures, and documentation

Consulting services in preventive conservation and environmental conditions; general collections management; and disaster planning

Examinations and condition statements for loan or acquisition, and conservation assessments and surveys

Assistance with gallery installation and with packing, handling and transport of paintings

Workshops, lecturing and teaching
Experience working on paintings of diverse media and compositon, including oil, tempera, and acrylic, on canvas, wood panel, and various boards and rigid supports, from the 13th century to contemporary.
